To begin your tour your See Sight Tour guide will take you toward the picturesque fishing village of Peggy’s Cove, located about an hour from Halifax. Along the way, your guide will share fun facts and tips about the area.
Next, you’ll have the opportunity to take a picture with the most photographed lighthouse in Canada - the iconic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse (also known as Peggy’s Point Lighthouse). You’ll also have free time to explore the area. The tiny fishing village of Peggy’s Cove offers some small shops you can check out or you can grab a seat on one of the benches and enjoy the stunning ocean views.
End your exclusive, private tour with a visit to Peggy’s Cove, your guide will bring you back to Halifax to visit historic Citadel Hill. While here you will learn about the military history of the hill and see the Highlander re-enactment interpreters dressed in traditional uniforms from the 1800s. Nilah did a great job touring us through Halifax and Peggy’s Cove and explaining the sights and the history of Halifax.

Our guide was fabulous! She is so knowledgeable and shared so much history , traditions and made this a highlight of our Halifax trip. She made this food experience not only tasty ( yes even the oyster!) but a long lasting memory!

We went on a tour with Nilah through Halifax and Peggy’s Cove. Nilah was a great guide - very informative. She made a good itinerary better with her knowledge and sense of humor.
